A dying breed, an extraordinary entertainer, and iconoclast, fervently driven by the dream, to endure experiences beyond expectations.

Jack tells of an extraordinary set of adventures. Just one man, his wife and a little son travelling the length and breadth of Australia.

  • Wild nights. Entertainment in country towns in the forties.
  • Through a bushfire, 60 gallons of fuel under plastic tarpaulins, a mobile bomb!
  • A maniac pilot, 27 days, twice down in the Simpson Desert.
  • Fancy a life in show business? Cop this, and we'll ask you again later!
  • A little girl of two, stage struck. And "stuck" in business.
  • 800 miners, and a unforgettable night... cheeky but true!

What did he get up to?

A story you won't want to miss!

What did he get up to?

A lot!….. within two days he managed to gain employment managing a West End emporium.

Two months later he’s gained a premier address, (the Duke of Bedford’s London townhouse), and within two years he’s opening, (without finance), a superb Health Food Store, soon serving up to 800 people per day.

Earning the accolade by the New York Times as “the only man in London you can trust” and concurrently winning awards up and down the Home Counties for his productions of derivative theatre works, before throwing it all up(!) and coming home to his home town in country Queensland.

Jack the Wild Card, the firebrand, the Wild Colonial Boy, a life difficult to emulate and daring to relate.
